The clocks have gone back, the nights are drawing in, our fires are lit and it is time to start planning for Christmas. For singers its a particularly lovely time where old favourite carols are dusted off and we allow ourselves the indulgence of singing along with the radio. The other thing about this time of year is that people tend to know the songs so we may hear the most unlikely people belting out their favourite carol.
In our Sing Together group we will continuing to sing the songs we learned last mid term and also including a number of fun, and beautiful carols to our repertoire. The plan is to enjoy singing them together in the Ballinamore Community Centre and to sing them at an event in Ballinamore Main Street at the end of term.
Come along and encourage some of your friends to join us. As you know, no musical experience necessary. We just open our mouths and enjoy singing together. Wednesdays from November 9th, 7-9pm. Tea, coffee and goodies served during the break.
